Campervanning in New Zealand

Waking up to views like this while exercising the ultimate freedom of a nomadic adventure.IMG_9021
‘Jan’ the van was a tired ‘ol gal but dependable no less & I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. Hit the road with an open mind and let the experiences enrich your soul.

    1. I know, right?? Campervanning is very popular in NZ so it is quite easy to find your own little slice of camping heaven. Thanks for commenting!

  1. Did you hire the van, or buy it over there? This looks like an amazing experience.
I was planning a road trip from north to south but have chosen to go to Thailand next instead. Still on the agenda though!

    1. Hey there! I rented from wicked campers. There are a lot of companies offering rentals as campervanning is hugely popular in NZ. There are pros and cons to each rental company. Thailand sounds awesome, enjoy and keep those feet moving πŸ™‚

    1. It truly is. The wonderful thing about campervanning is the freedom it allows to explore on your own. Some of my best memories are not from waking up in a hotel room but from waking up surrounded by the land that I went to visit. Thanks for the comment!

    1. Thanks and I can’t wait to see your photos when you make it down there. You will love it! The open door/water photo is in Oamaru and the mountains are in the campground heading to Milford Sound.
